陳天生辦案能力越來越高，在上海灘名聲幾乎要蓋過父親陳亨利，不由得有點飄飄然。沒想到馬上栽了跟斗。一次國畫展上，陳天生意外結識了漂亮聰明的女記者曉蕙，與此同時，一伙盜賊暗暗實施著盜畫行動。天生通過觀察，認出了扮成巡捕的竊賊并將其抓捕。關鍵時刻，曉蕙也發(fā)現了化裝成安保人員準備偷畫的竊賊。就在他們?yōu)樽プ⊥诞嬞\慶幸時，美術館長發(fā)現館內一副價值連城的王維失傳名作《臥雪圖》不翼而飛。通過對偷畫賊的審問，發(fā)現偷《臥雪圖》的另有其人。陳亨利拜訪《臥雪圖》的主人梁仕友。但是亨利發(fā)現梁仕友在提到畫的來源時閃爍其詞，似有隱瞞。而天生則發(fā)現梁仕友的兒子梁旭是個紈绔子弟，經?；燠E賭場，并且在書畫即將展出前幾天行為怪異，不禁讓人心生懷疑。通過一個贗品畫師的線索，天生發(fā)現梁旭確有盜畫企圖?？墒呛嗬麉s認為案子并沒有這么簡單。果然，種種證據表明盜畫者并非梁旭。天生再回到對三個偷畫賊的...
