簡介：根號航空母艦（USS Ronald Reagan CVN-76）是美國尼米茲級核動力航空母艦的九號艦，也是美國在進入21世紀(jì)以后第一艘成軍的航空母艦。2001年時完工下水的里根號是以美國第40任總統(tǒng)羅納德·里根為名，里根總統(tǒng)是帶領(lǐng)美國結(jié)束冷戰(zhàn)時期、非常受美國人民愛戴的國家領(lǐng)袖，也是第一位本人還在世時就被拿來替軍艦命名的前美國總統(tǒng)。不過由于新艦下水時里根本人因病無法參加儀式，因此是由前第一夫人萳西·里根代表出席，里根本人則在航艦正式服役后隔年與世長辭，享年93歲。
